Charlotte A. Graham is an Associate Attorney in the Brawley office of Horton, Knox, Carter & Foote, LLP. Ms. Graham was admitted to the California Bar in 2009, and is experienced in the areas of estate planning, probate, public agency matters, business law, and labor and employment law.

Ms. Graham attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, an Emphasis in American Literature and a Minor in History. In 2008, Ms. Graham graduated cum laude and received her Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law.

During law school, Ms. Graham worked for the Hon. Judge Paul W. Egly (Ret.) as a teaching and research assistant. She was also a member of the University of La Verne’s Law Review (Journal of Juvenile Law), served as Senior Staff Writer (2006-2007) and Executive Notes and Comments Director (2007-2008), and was published in the Journal of Juvenile Law, Volume 28 (2007). While attending the University of La Verne, Ms. Graham received many awards of distinction including Dean’s List, A.D.R. Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dispute Resolution, and CALI Awards (Top Grade) in Torts, Lawyering Skills Practicum and Administrative Law.

A native of the Imperial Valley, Ms. Graham is a member of a fourth generation Brawley farming family. She is the daughter of Charles and Dorothy Graham, longtime Brawley residents. Ms. Graham first joined Horton, Knox, Carter & Foote as a Legal Secretary in 2003. While awaiting bar results, Ms. Graham also clerked for Horton, Knox, Carter & Foote in the Brawley office.

Ms. Graham is a member of the Imperial County Bar Association, Navy League, Young Farmers & Ranchers of Imperial County, and the Brawley Farmer’s Market Committee. In her spare time, Ms. Graham enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her niece and nephew.
